Permit leads for local trade businesses

New building permits are tomorrow's jobs. We send them to the trades that aren't on the project yet.

Every day, cities issue permits for pools, foundations, remodels and new homes. Each one is a project about to start — and most of them still need a fence company, a plumber, a landscaper, a cleaner. Stamped Leads reads the city's permit feed, groups it into real projects, and delivers the ones your trade is missing from.

Leads are newly issued building permits — projects about to start, not completed jobs. All data is public record from the city's own permit feed.

How it works

From city paperwork to your inbox in three steps

The city issues a permit

A homeowner or builder files and gets approval — a pool, a foundation repair, a sewer line, a new home. That permit is public record, published in the city's open-data feed.

We turn permits into projects

One project can spawn three or four child permits. We group them back into the single real project, classify what kind of work it is, and work out which trades it still needs.

You get the projects you're missing from

You receive the address, what's being built, and when the permit was issued — while there's still time to win the work. No completed jobs, no stale lists.

The who's-missing idea

The permit names who's on the job. We find who isn't.

Take a new pool. The permit names the pool builder — they're already on the project. But a pool can't pass final inspection without a barrier, and the pool builder almost never installs it. That fence job — typically a few thousand dollars — is unclaimed the day the permit issues. The same pattern repeats everywhere: a foundation repair that needs a drain plumber, a new home that needs irrigation, lighting and a final clean. Stamped Leads exists to hand those unclaimed jobs to the trades that do them.

How the tiers stack: an Exclusive subscriber sees a new project instantly and has it to themselves for 24 hours. Then it goes to Pro subscribers at the 24-hour mark. Then it lands in the Starter weekly digest. Same projects — freshness is what you're paying for.

One fence job pays for about two years of Exclusive. One foundation job pays for years of Pro. The math is not subtle — that's the point.

FAQ

Fair questions

What exactly do I get?

A list of real projects in your metro, matched to your trade: the property address, what kind of project it is (new pool, foundation repair, sewer replacement, new home…), a short description of the work, and the date the permit was issued. Child permits are grouped, so each project appears once — not three or four times.

How fresh are the leads?

It depends on your tier. Exclusive subscribers get projects the moment they're spotted in the city's feed, with a 24-hour window before anyone else sees them. Pro gets them at 24 hours. Starter gets a weekly digest of projects about 4 days old. Remember: these are newly issued permits — projects about to start, not completed jobs — so even a few days old is early in the project's life.

Where does the data come from?

Your city's own building-permit records, published as public open data. We read the city's permit feed, group child permits into real projects (in Austin's last 90 days, 14,963 permits resolved to 8,834 projects), classify them by trade, and deliver them. No scraped personal data, no purchased lists.

Is this legal? It's public record, right?

Yes. Building permits are public records — anyone can walk into city hall or open the city's data portal and read them. We do the reading, grouping and sorting at scale so you don't have to. We pass along the project facts exactly as filed: address, work type, description, issue date.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees, no retention scripts. Cancel and the subscription simply stops at the end of the period you've paid for.

Do you sell my information?

No. Your business details are used to run your subscription and nothing else. We sell permit data to subscribers; we don't sell subscribers to anyone.
